Samsung Link: What is hiding behind this Samsung service?

What's Samsung Link?

Using Samsung Link can you easily transfer data (photos, videos, music, etc.) which are stored on a device (such as your PC) open on your smartphone or tablet. transmission via DLNA, WiFi Direct and Miracast is used for.

Depending on the region and provider, it may still be possible that Samsung link does not work to the given device.

Samsung PCs:

  • 2014: ATIV Book, ATIV One and later: provided by download or on a pre-installed software update
  • 2013: ATIV Book and ATIV One (except ATIV Smart PC): Per Download or a pre-installed software update provided (after April 1, 2014)

Both Smart TVs Samsung is however much more subdued and only mentioned that some models from the years 2011, 2012 and 2013 are supported, accurate product names are not mentioned here on the official website.
